Historic Village of Stroud has Silo Hill, an Historic site. Broadway St, Stroud unrestricted access down into one of the grain stores via a steel ladder, dated back to 1841 -10,000 bushels of grain could be stored in these bell shaped underground silos. Originally covered by two long roofs. Excellent views of the township of Stroud in all directions. Stroud and district historical society at the Stroud Court house can supply a full brochure of the Stroud heritage walk for a small charge.

Unrestricted views out through the trees of Bulahdelah and the Myall River Valley. Dated 1878 its original use was logging and mining. Alunite Mined from 1878 -19.27 and 1934 -1950.
